2D/3D/VFX Artist at Digital Dodge

What made you decide to train and become a Digital artist?

I was really passionate about arts and was always fond of drawing since I was a kid (a time where computers are not that popular and flexible for artists) I decided to become a digital artist because its becoming more popular and in demand and things are becoming easier with the help of computers. I was also in love with playing fantasy games.

What was it like to make your very first creative project?

Its was exciting, challenging, and frustrating at the same time.

What were the memorable challenges you encountered? How did you overcome it?

Criticisms everywhere — people telling you what you should do. Being mindful of other’s opinions and criticisms will help us learn. No matter how good we always think we are, there are still things that we don’t know. Every day is another learning experience.

How long have you been a digital artist?

I have been a professional digital artist for almost 3 yrs.

Where do you get inspiration? What/ Who inspires you? In what way?

I get inspiration from playing RPG games and listening to some classical music. They get me in the mood and my mind drives off to different magical places.

How do you hone your skills?

Googling? asking other artists/workmates..Reasearch… and endless study.

What advise can you share with our future aspiring artists?

Study and never give up. Failures are always a part of an artist’s life.. so if you want to learn.. prepare to fail and try again.
